A. Theory:

1. The past simple tense
Eg: I cleaned the room yesterday.
She did her homwork las tnight.
Form:
(+) S + Ved ( Virre ) + O.
(- ) S + Did not + V + O.
( ? ) Did + S + V + O?
Yes, S + did
No, S + did not.
Eg:
I did not clean the room yesterday.
Did you clean the room yesterday?
Note:
- The advs of the time are usually used:
Yesterday, lastnight, ago…

2. Present perfect tense:
Eg: I have done the housework.
She has cooked dinner.
Form:
S + have/ has + Vpp + O.
Note:
- This tense is usually used with words:
For: a period of time
Since: Point of time
Eg: She has gone there for 3 ddays
We have learnt English since 2007
